There's going to be a lot more than boats at the second annual Boating and Outdoor Festival on Thursday through Sept. 25. Organizers are expanding the boat show at Metro Beach Metropark to take in all aspects of outdoor recreation, said Nicki Polan, director of communications for the Michigan Boating Industries Association.
